Vynyl Fevah is a Rock cover band from the Durham area performing hit songs, primarily from the ‘80s. Our goal is to engage, entertain, and elate audiences with grooves and amazing musical performances. Vynyl Fevah  Bios

Julie Painter - Lead Vocals

 

Julie has been singing ever since she could talk. Julie has a background in dance and musical theater. She has always felt a call to be on stage performing and providing entertainment for others! Julie gives credit to her parents for her eclectic taste in music! Her mama does dance and her daddy does rock and roll!




Craig Wiggins - Lead Guitar and Vocals

 

Since receiving his first guitar for Christmas at age 9, Craig has been playing music of all sorts. He grew up in East Tennessee, toured the US and Canada as part of Young American Showcase and has lived in Durham, NC for 20 years. Craig teaches guitar and other plucked instruments at High Strung School of Music.










Billy Painter - Rhythm Guitar and Vocals

Fueled by passion and a love for raw, electrifying sound, Billy brings an unmistakable energy to Vynyl Fevah, as one of the guitarists. Billy is from Durham NC. With influences ranging from Beatles, Aerosmith, and 80s Hair metal, to an original style that’s all his. Whether in the studio or on stage, the mission is simple: We Bring the Party!

Angie Sanchez - Keyboards and vocals

Angie is a self-taught keyboardist with a natural ear for music and a passion for 80’s classic hits.  She adds depth and energy to the band by experimenting with new sounds and arrangements to keep Vynyl Fevah’s performances exciting while keeping your favorite songs as close to the original track as possible.

Eric Ginsburg - Bass Guitar

Filling the “down low” slot in Vynyl Fevah, Eric has been playing music since he was 11 years old, making and playing guitars, basses, and Native American-style flutes. His influences run the gamut, from Julian Bream to Carlos Nakai to Mark Knopfler, and many of the Rock and Blues greats. Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Eric grew up in Reno, Nevada and bounced around California before relocating to North Carolina some 40 years ago.








Mark Robertson - Drums

Mark is from the home of Rock ‘n Roll; Cleveland, Ohio. Influenced by Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Deep Purple, Bad Company, Rolling Stones, Mark has been a drummer for more than 50 years.  Mark has played with a variety of bands in Ohio and North Carolina.
